Bar Mercury. San Jose, CA
A new restaurant is destined for 189 West Santa Clara Street at the corner of Almaden Ave. Designed by Basile Studio.
The space is part of the thriving San Pedro Square.
The space is also known as the Lyndon Building and was constructed in 1884. In 1902 it housed the Times-Mercury which was a precursor to the San Jose Mercury News.

Amdahl Design worked closely with the Basile Studio to elevate the San Pedro Square dining experience.

Bar Mercury takes an inspired and fluid approach to the ink traps used by former Mercury News.
