Authentic SoCal, retro-cool, beach lifestyle of sunshine and happiness.

Amdahl partnered with the Port of San Diego and the City of Imperial Beach to create a hyper local destination brand for the iconic IB Pier. The goal came straight from the Mayor. Bring visitors all the way to the end of the pier.

From satellite view, the pier reads as a clear arrow pointing west into the Pacific. That insight shaped the brand name MoSoWe. Most South West. The experiential moment lands at the tip of the arrow with a simple call to action. Get to MoSoWe Point and smile.

Hillcrest has long been connected to the overarching colors of diversity. Known to be welcoming and eclectic, the neighborhood is the center of the San Diego’s LGBTQ+ community.
