Project
How do you take a dark space (with white walls) and turn it into an environment that is full of energy and drives engagement. with very little budget.

Inspiration
Remember the innovative printing presses, and the dots. I’d like to celebrate the dots and squares and pixels in this environment. It’s what comics are made of. — this is of course where the comics come alive.

And the displays. Let’s make them all black, white and silver.

Comics of the 1930s used genuine, old school Ben Day dots. That’s what inspired this space. If you get interested in the subject, and take a magnifying glass to some of your Silver Age Marvel or DC comics, for example, you are not going to see the same techniques in use. Similar in many ways, yesbut not the same.

Results
Client is thrilled and the business is doing very well.

This is a shift to a full color and pixelated, spectrum.
