Research and design working together to create an accurate portrait of the people - so the Port of SD can better serve them.
Problem:
The Port needs to know who the customers really are – not just who think they might be or, who they want them to be. And, even though it sounds good, everyone is not a target customer. So who are the people in the neighborhoods?
Solution:
A foundational workbook resource - combining census, ESRI, and primary research data, intended to help identify and understand its customer base.
This project did not go public. It was too much too fast.
